Classroom Expectations

Below are my expectations for my students in the classroom. If you have any questions or would like clarification, please feel free to reach out to me.

Students will:

1. be on time to class.

2. show respect for all people and things in the classroom. This includes themselves, myself, their peers, school property,        etc.

3. not have their cell phones out or visible unless instructed to do so by myself for educational purposes.

4. follow all lab safety rules and directions given by the teacher.

Below are what you can expect from me in the classroom. If you have any questions or would like clarification, please feel free to reach out to me.

I will:

1. treat you with respect. 

2. get grades into the grade book within a reasonable amount of time. Please give me some time to get large assignments (projects, ADI's, etc) and tests in.

3. be reachable and approachable. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. If you need help with an assignment or understanding a concept, I am available before and after school. I will also check my email until 8pm.

Miss Strother

About Miss Strother:
Miss Strother graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in both Chemical Science and Education. She grew up playing softball and marching in the marching band. She's loved science from an early age and wants to share her passion for science and learning with her students.
​
Miss Strother has completed research looking into the structure and functionality of protein CrgA in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) and has worked alongside renowned scientists to achieve a greater understanding of how this protein works.
